Colby Woodland Garden

Posted on: December 4th, 2011 by Rob

The secluded woodland setting of Colby hosts one of the finest collections of rhododendrons and azaleas in Wales.

The 3ยจ?-hectare (8-acre) garden has a fine display of colour in spring – with rhododendrons, magnolias, azaleas and camellias, under planted with bluebells. Later highlights are the summer hydrangeas and autumn foliage. Open and wooded pathways through the estate offer a variety of lovely walks while the The walled garden, Gothic-style gazebo and water feature add structural interest.
