The Landscape Institute (LI)

The Landscape Institute is the Royal Chartered body for landscape architects in the UK. We have over 5,000 members who work across a range of organisations such as local authorities, government agencies and private practise. They are involved in a broad range of tasks including master planning, environmental assessment, public consultation and design. The Institute provides services to assist members including support and promotion of the work of landscape architects; information and guidance to the public and industry about the specific expertise offered by those in the profession; and training and educational advice to students and professionals looking to build upon their experience.

The Landscape Institute works closely with partner organisations in the UK and overseas. In 2005 the LI and RIBA formalised their close working relationship by signing a Memorandum of Agreement.
