Landscaping centres for Wyevale

12/05/2009

Eight branches of the Wyevale garden centre chain are to launch Landscape and Fencing Centres this month.

Each centre will feature up to 300 sq m of display gardens in contemporary, cottage and Mediterranean styles to help inspire visitors planning a garden landscaping project.

"One of the highlights of the show gardens

will be a brick and stone 'folly' supplied by a specialist company called Redwood. There will also be several displays of water features. All the products on display will be available from the Landscaping and Fencing Centres either from stock or to order," says Wyevale buyer Patrick Boyle.

A dedicated sales counter will assist customers who are planning projects, and the product range has been chosen to enable a one-stop shop. "We have also invested in new merchandising systems so that we can maintain a good level of stock to ensure key products are available at all times," adds Boyle.

A delivery service will be available for bulky items.

The new Centres will carry an extensive range of fencing products, including treated landscaping timbers and a wide choice of fencing and fence panels. "They will stock everything from feather edge slats to timber and concrete fencing posts and traditional and continental system fencing panels," says Boyle.

The eight specialist Wyevale centres will be at Old Barn Nursery & Garden Centre in West Sussex, Hillingdon in north London, Weybridge in Surrey, Osterley in London, Harlestone Heath in Northamptonshire, Leicester, and Swindon and Wyevale Bicester Garden Centre in Oxfordshire. All will be open within six weeks.
